The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has released a total number of 897 vacancies for APPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2023. There are 331 Executive and 566 Non-Executive Posts under APPSC Group 2.
The aspirants of the APPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2023 can apply for the selection process and its exams by filling out an application form. the application process will start from 21st December 2023 to 10th January 2024. The form will be available on the Commission’s website once the application begins. The candidates need to fill out every detail, along with the essential documents. Candidates can now easily upload their photograph, signature, and other documents by using the free Photo cropping & resizing tool by Testbook. The APPSC Group 2 application process for the recruitment will soon start once the notification for the year 2023 is released.
The applicants must know the complete APPSC Group 2 application process for 2023 as it makes it convenient for them while applying for the post. One should avoid making any application form mistakes and always access it through a desktop or a laptop. The Commission’s website is not suitable for the mobile browsers and you may face difficulties if you try to fill the application form through a mobile browser.
Step I: Go to the Commission’s website.
Step II: Click on ‘One Time Profile Registration (OTPR).’ You will need to provide your information and credentials to create a login ID and password.
Step III: Once this OTPS is completed, use this unique ID and password and log in to the website and head to the Apply Online section.
Step IV: Select the APPSC Group 2 recruitment exam from the list. Once the application form is available on your screen, you can fill it out with all your details. Upload the necessary documents.
Step V: Check and review the information that you have entered. Once ensured that everything is up to the mark, click on Submit.
Step VI: Pay the application fee through any online payment method that is desirable. You can also opt to pay it offline.
Step VII: Once the application fee is paid, you can proceed to download and print the APPSC Group 2 application form.
The application fee is to be paid once the applicants have finished filling the online form. The expected application fee is detailed in the table below for the different categories. If one fails to pay the application fee before the end of the APPSC Group 2 application process, then their form will be rejected.

The APPSC Group 2 selection process for all the posts consists of three stages: the Screening Test, Main Exam, and Computer Proficiency Test. All the three stages are detailed here.
The screening test is the first stage for all the posts that come under APPSC Group 2. The test is taken in an offline format. The exam has one paper with 3 sections of 150 marks. The sections are General Studies & Mental Ability, Social & Cultural History of Andhra Pradesh and Indian Constitution, Planning and Economy.
The candidates who get selected after the screening test will then be called for the main exam. The main exam is an objective-type exam of Bachelor's degree standard. The exam comprises 2 papers of 150 marks each, totaling to 300 marks. A negative marking of ⅓ marks will be applicable in both the written exams.
Only candidates appearing for the posts of Deputy Tehsildar, Asst. Section Officer (GAD), Asst. Section Officer (Finance), Asst. Section Officer (Law), Asst. Section Officer (Legislature), Sr. Accountant AP Works and Accounts, Junior Assistant APPSC, Junior Assistant (Labour), Junior Assistant (PH and ME), Junior Assistant (Agriculture), Junior Assistant (Sugar & cane), Junior Assistant (Roads and Building), and Junior Assistant (Survey) have to qualify the Computer Proficiency Test. This will test the skills of the candidates in office automation with usage of computers and associated software.
The candidates who clear the main exam will need to present the following documents in their original form. The Commission verifies the eligibility as well as the qualifications of the selected candidates through these documents. Prepare the below-given documents well in time to produce when asked.
