Candidates can download the Admit card from the link given in this article. Earlier the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) has released the official notification for recruiting eligible candidates as Postgraduate Teachers (PGT) in various subjects at Army Public Schools (APS) across the country. Interested candidates can attempt the AWES APS Online Screening Test (OST) 2023. Read on, to know more about the AWES PGT Recruitment 2023.

• The Army Public School PGT exam date 2023 is also revised. The AWES APS OST 2023 will now be held on 25th and 26th November 2023.

11th September 2023: AWES PGT Application date Extended

The Army Welfare Education Society (PGT) has extended its application date. Candidates can now apply till 12th September 2023. Interested candidates can visit the official website to apply for the vacant posts.

AWES PGT Application Process 2023

The applications for AWES APS PGT must be submitted online. The steps to submit the application form are as follows:

Step 2: Click on “Register Yourself” and fill in the mandatory fields like Name, Address, E-mail, Post you want to apply, etc.

Step 3: Verify the details and click on proceed, and fill in the details like the post you are applying for, subject code, examination center, educational and experience details.

Step 4: Upload the SSC Mark sheets, Photograph and Signature.

Step 5: Proceed to pay the application fee. You will be redirected to the payment gateway website.

Step 6: Pay the required amount and click on the submit button.

AWES PGT Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who want to apply for AWES PGT Recruitment have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

AWES APS PGT Age Limit

The age limit for AWES PGT Recruitment is as follows:

• For fresh candidates (no teaching experience): Below 40 years as on 1st April of the year of appointment
• For experienced candidates (minimum five years of teaching experience): Below 57 years as on 1st April of the year of appointment

AWES APS PGT Educational Qualification

The post-wise educational qualification for AWES PGT is as follows

In addition, candidates must have the following qualifications too:

• The candidates should also have a B.Ed degree or equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university
• The candidates should also have proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium

AWES PGT Selection Process

The selection process for AWES Postgraduate Teacher consists of three stages:

• Online Screening Test (OST): MCQ-based test
• Interview: For candidates who qualify the AWES OST
• Evaluation of Teaching Skills and Computer Proficiency: For language teachers, a written test comprising essay and comprehension of 15 marks each will be held along with evaluation of teaching skills. The selection committee may also hold computer proficiency tests if they so desire.
