The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, a Government of India Department of Atomic Energy had announced the BARC Stipendiary Trainee Recruitment 2023 Notification. The recruitment notification was released for the post of Stipendiary Trainee for Training as well as direct recruitment for various posts like Technical Officer/C, Scientific Assistant/B, and Technician/B. A total of 4162 vacancies have been released to be filled under the recruitment process.

• The candidates who hold the required educational qualification could apply for the recruitment by submitting their applications through an online portal through the official website.
• Candidates can apply for the BARC Stipendiary Trainee Recruitment 2023 from 24th April to 22nd May 2023.
• The candidates whose applications will be shortlisted will have to undergo a selection process that varies for each post under the recruitment process.

BARC Stipendiary Trainee Vacancy 2023

The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre has announced a total of 4162 vacancies for the post of Stipendiary Trainee under the BARC Stipendiary Trainee Recruitment 2023. Check the detailed vacancy information as given below.

The candidates who wish to apply for the BARC Stipendiary Trainee Recruitment must submit their applications through an online mode. The direct link and steps on how to apply for the recruitment will be as follows.

BARC Stipendiary Trainee Application Fee 

The candidates who will be submitting the application form must also pay an application fee. Only the candidates who pay the application fee and complete the whole process will be considered for the recruitment process. The application fee details are given below.

• Candidates appearing for Category-I and post number DR -1 must pay INR 150/-.
• Candidates appearing for Category-II and Post number DR/2 and DR/3 must pay INR 100/-.
• Application Fee is exempted for candidates who belong to SC/ST, PWD, Ex-Serviceman (for DR posts), and Women category.

BARC Stipendiary Trainee Selection Process 2023

The selection process for both category-I and II will be different in the BARC Stipendiary Trainee Recruitment. The selection process will be as follows.

Category-I

• Written Examination
• Interview

Category-II

• Preliminary Test
• Advanced Test
• Skill Test

BARC Stipendiary Trainee Exam Pattern 2023

The exam pattern for BARC Stipendiary Trainee exam for both Category-I and Category-II will be as follows. This will help candidates have an idea of how to prepare for the examination.

Category-I

• The Written Examination will be conducted for a total of one hour and will comprise of 40 objectives (multiple) type questions.
• The syllabus for the said examination will be based on subjects at Diploma/B.Sc. level as the case may be.
• Those candidates qualifying in the written examination shall be short-listed for interview. The date of the interview will be notified later.
• The marking scheme will be 3 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
• The final selection and ranking will be on the basis of the performance of the candidate in the interview and no weightage will be given for marks scored in the written examination.

Category-II

The candidates appearing for Category-II will have to undergo 3 stages under the selection process. The stage-wise details of the exam will be as given below.

• The examination will consist of 50 multi-choice questions.
• The exam will be conducted for a total of 1 hour.
• 3 marks will be awarded for every right answer.
• 1 mark will be ducted for every wrong answer given by the candidate.
• Candidates with <40% in the General category and <30% in a reserved category will be screened out.

Stage-II - Advanced Test

• All candidates Screened in Stage-I will be allowed to undertake Stage-II in their respective trade.
• The Test will comprise 50 multi-choice questions of two-hour duration.
• 3 marks for each correct answer will be awarded and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
• A Merit List of candidates will be prepared after Stage-II based upon the scores obtained in Stage-II only.
• All candidates with <30% in the General category and <20% in a reserved category will be screened out.

Stage-III - Skills Test

• Based upon the Merit List prepared after Stage-II, candidates will be shortlisted for Stage-III.
• Candidates clearing the skill test will be shortlisted in order of Merit based on the marks secured in Stage-II.
• The number of candidates shortlisted for the Skill Test will depend upon the number of candidates qualifying for Stage-II.
• The Skill Test will be based on the Go/No-Go basis
