CRPF ASI Selection Process 2024

The CRPF ASI Selection Process is expected to consist of the following stages:

• Written Examination
• PST/PET
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination (DME/RME)

Written Exam: The 1st stage is written exam which tests applicants' knowledge and aptitude in various subjects related to ASI posts. The exam evaluates their technical knowledge, general awareness, reasoning ability and English proficiency.

PST/PET: Candidates who pass the written test are invited to take the Physical Standard Test (PST) and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Candidates' physical measures such as height, chest size etc., are verified during the PST to ensure they fulfil the required guidelines. The PET checks their physical fitness through exercises such as jogging, long jump, high jump and other physical difficulties.

Document Verification: After passing the PST/PET, candidates have to go undergo document verification. This stage confirms the legitimacy of their educational certificates, IDs and other necessary proof. To continue in the selection process, candidates must produce real and valid records.

Medical Examination (DME/RME): This is the final stage of selection. It is divided into a Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and a Review Medical Examination (RME). Qualified candidates undergo a strict medical test to determine their physical condition and eligibility for the ASI post. • Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years

Candidates should not be born before 26th January 1998 or after 25th January 2005.

• A citizen of India, or
• A subject of Nepal, or
• A subject of Bhutan, or
• A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before he 1st January, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
• A person of Indian origin who has migrated from these countries with the intention of permanently settling in India.

CRPF ASI Exam Pattern 2024

There will be two parts in the CRPS ASI exam as per the previous official notification. The duration of both parts will be 2 hours. Part I of the exam carry 60 marks and Part II will be conducted for 40 marks. Go through the below table to understand more about the exam pattern.

For Skill Test, there will be dictation @ 80 words per minute for 10 minutes. For transcription, 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on Computer.

The salary they will receive will range between Rs 29,200 to Rs 92,300.
