DSSSB PGT Application Link Active for Advt No. 02/2023! DSSSB PGT Notification 2023 was released for a total of 47 vacancies across male and female Postgraduate Teachers under various subjects such as PGT English, PGT Sanskrit, PGT Graphics, PGT Fine Arts/Painting, PGT Agriculture. The DSSSB PGT application process has started from 17th July 2023 and will end on 15th September 2023. The selection process consists of a written examination comprising 200 marks. Earlier, DSSSB PGT Notification 2023 had been released on 31st July 2023 under Advt No. 02/2023! A total of 47 vacancies have been announced for PGT English, PGT Sanskrit, PGT Graphics, PGT Fine Arts/Painting, PGT Agriculture. DSSSB or Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board conducts various important recruitment examinations and one of them is the DSSSB PGT exam. How to Apply Online for DSSSB PGT 2023?

The interested candidates who wish to apply for the DSSSB Post Graduate Teachers 2023 exam can follow the steps given further.

Step 1: Proceed to DSSSB Official Website.

Step 2: The candidates need to proceed towards "Click for New Registration".

Step 3: After successful registration, log in with your credentials.

Step 4: Fill in all the required details like category, details, address, etc

Step 5: Upload the scanned images of recent passport-size photograph, signature, and required documents. The applicants can also use the Testbook Resize Tool.

Step 5: Pay the required application fee and submit your application form.

Step 6: Download and take a printout of this application form for future reference.

DSSSB PGT Application Fee

For advt no 02/2023, the application fee for the DSSSB PGT Recruitment differs depending on the category of the candidates. The applicants need to submit the application fee only through SBI e-pay. Any other mode of payment will not be considered and the application of such candidates will be rejected. The fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. The table given below discusses the application fee of the candidates:

DSSB PGT Selection Process 2023

The candidates eligible for DSSSB PGT recruitment will have to undergo the following stages for selection -

  • Written Exam (single-tier)
  • Document Verification.

However, the DSSSB reserves the right to amend or change the examination scheme any time before the examination, if required.

  • Master’s Degree in the subject concerned from any recognized University.
  • Degree / Diploma in training /Education. This is relaxable in the case of candidates having:
    • Obtained a Ph.D Degree in the subject concerned from a recognized University/Institution. OR
    • Obtained First Division in Higher Secondary, Degree and Post Graduate Examination with the Mandatory condition that the candidate will acquire the B.Ed. / B.T. qualification within a period not exceeding three years from the date of his joining the service.
PGT (Fine Arts/Painting)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art OR
  • Higher Secondary / Intermediate / Sr. School certificate exam with minimum 5 years (Full Time) diploma in Fine Art / Painting / Drawing & Painting from a recognized institute / university.
  • Graduate with Drawing & Painting as one of the subjects with minimum 4 years (Full Time) diploma from a recognized institute / university.
  • Master’s Degree in Fine Art / Drawing & Painting with a minimum of 2 years (Full Time) diploma from a recognized institute / university
PGT (Graphics)

  • Bachelor in Fine Art (with Graphic Specialisation) OR

  • Higher Secondary / Intermediate / Sr. School Certificate Examination with minimum 5 years (Full Time) diploma in Painting / Commercial Art with graphics as one of the subjects.

  • Section A carries a total of 100 questions. Each question carries 1 mark.
  • Section B domain-specific subject carries a total of 200 questions with 1 mark allotted for each. 
  • The questions asked in the exams shall be bilingual (Hindi & English) except for the language papers.
  • There shall be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong MCQ answer.
  • The exam is conducted for 2 hours. 
  • The minimum qualifying marks for One Tier/Two Tier written exam shall be:
    • General:40%
    • OBC (Delhi) :35%
    • SC/ST/PH (PwD) :30%
    • Ex-servicemen will be given 5% relaxation in their respective categories subject to a minimum of 30%.

Being a Group ‘B’ level job, the DSSSB PGT is a lucrative Delhi state government job with good perks and benefits.
