The CBSE, on behalf of the Eklavya Model Residential School has officially announced the EMRS TGT Exam Dates 2023 for the written test of the latest ESSE – 2023 cycle. The EMRS TGT 2023 written exam will be held on 16th, 17th, 23rd, and 24th of December 2023 in 2 shifts per day across 43 cities throughout the country.

EMRS TGT Eligibility Criteria 2023:

The candidates should satisfy the Nationality and Educational criteria before applying. The candidates must not exceed the age of 35 years for the EMRS Exam. Get detailed EMRS TGT Eligibility Criteria here!

A. EMRS Trained Graduate Teacher Age limit

The candidates who are wishing to apply for the examination must not be above 35 years.

• The age of the candidate should not exceed more than 55 Years after considering all the relaxation/concession in any given case.
• Candidates belonging to the reserved category will be benefited from certain age-related relaxations decided by the Government of India.

B. EMRS TGT Education Qualification

The candidates should satisfy at least one of the below educational requirements for the particular paper.

• Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT or
• Other NCTE recognized institution in concerned subject or
•  Bachelors Honours Degree in the concerned subject. or
• Bachelors Degree from a recognized university in concerned subject. The candidate should have studied the requisite subjects in all three years of degree course and
• Must have passed Passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)  and B.Ed.

C. Nationality

• The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• A subject of Nepal, Bhutan.
• A Tibetian refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 intending to permanently settle in India.
• Migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.

EMRS TGT Exam Pattern 2023 

The selection procedure for the EMRS TGT Exam 2023 consists of a single-stage test, OMR-based test. The EMRS TGT Exam Pattern for the objective type examination is as under:

• The exam will be held in offline (OMR-sheet) mode. 
• Time duration is 180 minutes
• Each question carries 1 mark.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 for every incorrect answer.
