Haryana PGT Exam Dates have been revised! The Haryana Public Service Commission has released the Haryana PGT Subject Knowledge exam dates. The Exam dates for Haryana PGT are 30th to 31 December 2023. Earlier, the Result for the  Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) in the subject of Fine Arts for the Rest of Haryana Cadre & Mewat Cadre was announced. Haryana HPSC PGT Notification 2023 had been released. A total of 4476 vacancies were announced for various disciplines in the Haryana Cadre and Mewat Cadre. The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) recruits eligible candidates as Post Graduate Teachers in the Government Schools of Haryana. • The salary of the selected candidates will be as per the 7th Pay Commission. The salary in the pay matrix is level 8 (Rs. 47,600-1,51,100).

6th November 2023: Haryana HPSC PGT Subject Knowledge Test Dates Out!

The Haryana Public Service Commission has announced the official Haryana PGT Subject Knowledge Test dates 2023 for candidates who previously qualified in the screening test result of 6 PGT subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Hindi, English & Economics for Mewat cadre and 3 PGT subjects of Commerce, History & Mathematics for ROH & Mewat Cadre. The HPSC Haryana PGT Subject Knowledge Test 2023 round will be held from 16th December to 17th December 2023 in two shifts (Morning: 08:30 AM to 1l:30 AM and Evening: 02:30 PM to 05:30 PM). Candidates will also be able download their HPSC PGT Admit Card 2023 for this same round from 11th December 2023 onwards. 

3rd November 2023: Haryana PGT Rejection List Out for Fine Arts!

The Haryana Public Service Commission has officially released the Haryana HPSC PGT rejection list for candidates who had appeared for the PGT (Fine Arts) for the rest of Haryana and Mewat cadre. 2nd November 2023: Haryana PGT Rejection List Out for Political Science!

27th October 2023: Haryana PGT Revised Result Out!

The Haryana Public Service Commission has released the revised result for the post of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in the subject of Geography for Mewat cadre, in Secondary Education Department. Candidates who qualified in the Haryana PGT Subject Knowledge Test will now appear for the Viva-voce round from 6th November to 18th November 2023. 28th September 2023: Haryana PGT Subject Knowledge Test Postponed!

The Haryana Public Service Commission has officially postponed the HPSC PGT Subject Knowledge Test or Mains 2023 dates for the subject of Computer Science across Haryana Cadre (Advt. No. 2612023) and Mewat Cadre (Advt. No. 3612023). The Haryana HPSC PGT exam date 2023 for Subject Knowledge Test was on 1st October 2023. The new dates will be released soon. 

10th September 2023: Haryana PGT Answer Key Out

The Haryana PGT Answer Key has been released. This is the provisional answer key for the screening test. held on 9th & 10th September 2023. Objections against the same can be submitted online by 13th September 2023.

Haryana HPSC PGT Teacher Eligibility Criteria

The Haryana HPSC PGT Teacher Eligibility is detailed through the following point as per the official notification. One should satisfy all the points before applying or their application form will be rejected.

Haryana HPSC PGT Age Limit 

The age of the applicants for the Haryana HPSC PGT Recruitment must be between the following limit:

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 42 years

Haryana HPSC PGT Educational Qualification

The candidates must possess the below-mentioned educational qualifications before applying for the HPSC PGT Recruitment.

• Studied Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the languages in Matriculation or Higher or must have 10+2/BA/MA with Hindi as one of the subjects.
• Qualified in the HTET (Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test) or STET (School Teacher Eligibility Test).
• Passed Masters (M.A. / M.Sc/ M.Com, etc) in the concerned discipline with at least 50% marks and B.Ed from a recognized university.
• Have a consistent good academic record.

Note: Candidates who are applying for PGT Computer Science must have passed Masters with 55% aggregate marks.

Note: Candidates belonging to SC category and differently abled candidates will be entitled to a relaxation of up to 5% in the qualifying marks.

Nationality

To apply for any position, candidates can fulfil the Nationality criteria as only canidates of a few nations are allowed to apply. Below is the list allowed to apply for the position:

2. Subject of Nepal
3. Subject of Bhutan
4. A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 intending to settle permanently in India.
5. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma' Sri Lanka, and the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Haryana HPSC PGT Selection Process 2023

The selection of candidates for the post of Haryana HPSC PGT will be based on the following stages:

• Screening Test: Qualifying Only
• Subject Knowledge Test: 87.5% weightage in selection
• Interview/Viva: 12.5% weightage in selection

Haryana HPSC PGT Exam Pattern 2023

Candidates preparing for the Haryana HPSC PGT Recruitment must be aware of the exam pattern to understand the marking scheme, sectional weightage, and type of questions for the exam. The details of the Haryana HPSC PGT Exam Pattern are given below.

Haryana HPSC PGT Exam Pattern For Screening Test

The screening test will be an objective-type exam which will only be qualifying in nature.

• The exam will be conducted for 100 marks.
• The duration of the exam is 2 hours.
• All questions will carry equal marks.

Haryana HPSC PGT Exam Pattern For Subject Test

The subject-wise test will be descriptive in nature and carry 150 marks. The exam pattern for the same is as follows:

• The exam duration will be 3 hours.
• The weightage of marks scored in this test will be 87.5% in the overall selection process.
