31st October 2023: HSSC TGT Exam Schedule Out!

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has released Exam Schedule for the TGT Punjabi post against Advt. 21st July 2023: Haryana TGT Revised Document Verification Schedule Out!

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) released the HSSC TGT Revised Document Verification schedule. DV will be conducted from 7th August till 10th August 2023 for the post of TGT Sanskrit (ROH & Mewat), TGT Home Science (ROH & Mewat), and TGT Social Studies (Mewat).

How to Apply for Haryana TGT Exam 2023?

The applications for HSSC TGT Recruitment must be submitted online. The steps for the sane are listed below:

Step 1: Visit the Apply Online page of the HSSC website.

Step 2:  Click the link for Haryana TGT Recruitment.

Step 3: Fill in all the required details and upload the required documents. Make sure that there are no spelling mistakes or other errors before you click on the submit button. 

Step 4: Click on Submit after verifying all the details. After the registration process is done, the candidates will be provided with an online registration ID which they must preserve for future purposes. 

Step 5: Once done with the HSC TGT application process, You will then be redirected to an online payment portal. Pay the required application fee of Rs. 150 (UR Male) through net banking/credit card/debit card/UPI.

Step 6: You can now download the application form. Do get a printout of the application form for future reference.

HSSC TGT Application Fees 2023 

After filling in the required details in the application form, candidates must pay the application fee to conclude the application process. The candidates who have earlier applied but did not fulfil the required educational qualifications are entitled to a refund.

The application fee that is to be paid by an applicant belonging to different categories is provided in the table below.

Haryana TGT Selection Process 2023

The selection process is divided into stages- the Written Examination, and the evaluation of Socio-Economic criteria and experience. The detailed process and weightage for each stage are given below:

Socio-Economic Criteria and Experience

This round of the selection process comprises 5% weightage. These marks are allotted to the candidates based on different conditions. Find in detail below:

If neither the applicant nor any person from the applicant's family is, was, or has been a regular employee in any Department/Board/ Corporation/Company/Authority of Government of Haryana or any other State Government of India.

If the candidate is a widow/the first or the second child, and his father had died before attaining the age of 42 years/ the first or the second child, and his father had died before the applicant had attained the age of 15 years,".

If the candidate belongs to a denotified tribe like Vimukt Jatis and Tapriwas Jatis/Nomadic tribe of the State of Haryana, which is neither a Scheduled Caste nor a Backward Class.

If a candidate belongs to Haryana and has the service period of 6 months to 8 years, the weightage will be given half % for each year 4%

Haryana TGT Eligibility Criteria 2023 

The Eligibility Criteria are set by the Commission and can be found in the official notification. Applicants must check the eligibility criteria required before applying for the post. Candidates who do not satisfy these conditions cannot appear for the HSSC TGT exam. The Haryana TGT Eligibility criteria is as mentioned below.

HSSC TGT Age Limit

The minimum age of the candidate must be no less than 18 years. The upper age limit specified by the Commission for the HSSC TGT 2023 is set as 42 years for all the general category candidates. Aspirants from the reserved categories get certain age relaxations for the upper age limit as specified in the table below.

Disabled persons who covered under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. 

(i) 10 years' relaxation in age (+5 years if PwD applicant belongs to S/Caste, S/Tribe, B/Classes, EWS Category) subject to maximum 52 years, for Group C& D Posts, and also for Group A & B Posts where recruitment is made otherwise than through open competitive examination. 

 

(ii)5 years' relaxation in age (+5 years if PwD applicant belongs to S/Caste, S/Tribe, B/Classes, EWS Category (subject to maximum 52 years) for Group A &B posts where recruitment is made through open competitive examination. 

 

Note:- Relaxation in age limit shall be applicable irrespective of the fact whether the post is reserved for PwD or not, provided the post is identified suitable for persons with disabilities. 

Wives of military personnel who are disabled while in military service

Judicially separated women residing separately for more than two years from the date as prescribed for the purpose of age for applicants of other categories

Relaxation in age to the extent of his military service added by three years provided- 

 

(a) he has rendered continuous military service for a period of not less than six months before his release; 

 

and 

 

(b) he was released otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency. 

Persons who have already worked or presently working on adhoc/ contract/ workcharged/ daily wages basis in any Department/ Board/ Corporation of Haryana Government including Governmentaided institutions under Haryana Government. 

Relaxation in age equal to the number of completed years only on equivalent post on adhoc/contract/work-charged/daily wages basis excluding the period of break, if any, including any other age relaxation admissible, if any, subject to maximum age of 52 years and also subject to the condition that if once a person has been appointed on regular basis in any Department/Board/Corporation etc. of Haryana Government with the benefit of relaxation in age he will not be entitled to avail the same again for any subsequent appointment. 

Haryana TGT Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for the TGT post should have the following compulsory eligibility:

  • Certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET)/School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET);
  • Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subjects.
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 50 % marks in the subject/subject combination concerned and in total
  • B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized Accredited University 
  • Proficiency in Hindi and English language teaching
