How to Apply for the ICAR Technician Recruitment 2024?

ICAR Technician Selection Process 2024

The selection is done on the basis of a Computer Based Test consisting of objective-type multiple-choice questions. The minimum qualifying marks in written test/CBT shall be 40% for UR, 30% for SC/OBC-NCL/EWS, and 25% for ST. The final selection will be done after the verification of documents. The below phases were conducted in the previous year of 2022, and candidates can expect the same process for 2024.

ICAR Technician Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria will be rejected by the authorities. In the 2022 recruitment process, candidates had to appear for a Computer-Based Test. As the 2024 official notification is yet to be released, we expect the same pattern for 2024.

ICAR Technician Preliminary Exam Pattern

• The exam shall consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions.
• The question paper will be bilingual i.e. in English & Hindi.
• A total of 100 questions will be asked for 100 marks.
• There shall be a negative marking of 0.25 mark for every incorrect answer.

ICAR Technician Salary 2024

As per the year 2022, Candidates that are selected will be required to complete a year of on-the-job training. According to the ICAR IARI notification, candidates chosen for the job of Technician (T-1) at the Indian Agriculture Research Institute would be salaried with a Level-3 pay band and Rs. 21700/- per month + Allowances. The pay will be set in accordance with the 7th CPC, likewise, candidates can expect the same salary cycle for 2024.
