The Kerala Government has released the notification for the post of Higher Secondary School Teachers and Non-Vocational Teachers in VHSE. The application dates & vacancies will be notified soon. Candidates can download the notification from the link given in this article.
The candidates who hold the required eligibility criteria could apply for the Kerala SET October 2023 Cycle. Below we have provided the steps on how to apply.
Step 1: Visit www.lbscentre.kerala.gov.in.
Step 2: Select "SET and other Exams" under online services.
Step 3: Choose "SET-JANUARY-2024."
Step 4: Register your mobile number and confirm it with an OTP.
Step 5: Fill in personal and academic details
Step 6: Upload a photo with the image specification of an uploaded photograph must be of 200 pixels height, 150 pixels width, not exceeding a file size 30 KB, in jpg format. Upload the required documents as per the prescribed format using the Testbook Resize Tool.
Step 7: Candidates have to then pay the application fee based on the category they fall under.
Step 8: Before applying, check if all details are correctly mentioned.
Step 9: Click on the submit button and also take a copy of the application form for further reference.
As specified in the notification let’s have a look at important instructions required in the submission of photographs.
Candidates who want to avail scribe facility and the relaxation in marks of differently challenged must send the printout of their online application and the copy of the medical certificate (attested by Gazetted Officer) to LBS Centre.
The candidates who will be filling in the application form and submitting it, have to ensure they pay the required application fee. The application fee will vary depending on the category of the candidate. The fees can be paid only through an online mode (Debit/Credit Card/NetBanking). The details are as follows.

The candidates who wish to apply for the Kerala SET Exam 2023 must meet certain criteria set by the Kerala Government. The detailed Kerala SET eligibility criteria information will be as follows.
There is no age limit prescribed for candidates appearing for the SET.
Candidates appearing for the recruitment must be Indian Nationals.
The applicant must possess a Master's Degree in the subjects concerned with not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade and B.Ed. degree in any discipline. A candidate who does not possess master's degree but fulfill the below-mentioned criteria in respective fields will also be eligible:

The Kerala SET exam consists of two stages of individual papers.

Kerala SET Paper I is common for all candidates. Paper, I consists of two parts, Part (A) General Knowledge and Part (B) Aptitude in Teaching. The exam will be conducted for a total of 2 hours. Check the expected detailed exam pattern from the table below.

Candidates who qualify for the Kerala SET exam can visit the official website and download the Kerala SET certificate. The Kerala SET certificate will be valid for one year from the issue date. After the end of the validity period, candidates will need to pay an additional fee and then get the certificate. Those who apply for a SET certificate after the elapse of one year from the date of publication of results are required to pay a late fee of 500/- (Rs. Five hundred only) for the next one year and an additional amount of 250/ - (Rs. Two hundred and fifty only) for each subsequent year, thereafter. Candidates need to pay fees as demand draft drawn from a Nationalized Bank in favor of the Director, LBS Centre for Science and Technology payable at Thiruvananthapuram. The steps to download the Kerala SET Certificate are given below.
Step 1: Go to the official website of the Kerala SET exam.
Step 2: Next Click the line that states the "Application Form for the Certificate" link.
Step 3: Now enter all the required credentials like Roll number, Subject, District, Date of birth
Step 4: Then click on "Submit."
Step 5: The Kerala SET Certificate will be displayed on the screen.
Step 6: Candidates can download and take print of the same for future reference.
