The OSSSC has announced the exam date for the skill test of the Junior Assistant recruitment. The skill test will be conducted on 5th November 2023.
The Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission has postponed the OSSSC Junior Assistant Practical Skill Test date for CRE-2023. The test was originally scheduled to be held on 6th October 2023, but has now been postponed until further notice.
A total number of 4942 vacancies are released for the OSSSC Junior Assistant Recruitment. Below are the category-wise vacancy details.

Candidates can apply from 24th February 2023 to 27th March 2023. Follow the instructions which are mentioned below to apply for the recruitment.
Step 1: Click on the OSSSC Website.
Step 2: Fill in all the necessary details like name, father’s name, address, educational qualification, etc.
Step 3: Attach the required documents like SSC Certificate, Category Certificate etc.
Step 4: Upload your recent passport-size photograph. You can use the Testbook Cropping Tool which helps you to upload Your Image & Signature in specific dimensions.
Step 5: Pay the required fees and click on the submit button.
Step 6: Download and take a printout of the application form for future reference.
Selection of the candidates is based on the performance in stages mentioned below -
There is no OSSSC Junior Assistant application fees. Candidates who fall under the PWD, ST, or SC categories did not have to pay any amount as application fees.
The candidates must check the age limit, and educational qualification before applying for recruitment. The commission will reject the candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria. Check the complete details below.
The upper age limit has been reduced by 5 years for SEBC, SC, ST, and all female candidates and 10 years for persons with a disability in accordance with government rules and regulations.

The candidates must have passed the +3 examination or equivalent from a recognized university. Obtained a Middle School diploma with Odia as a language subject or an HSC diploma with Odia as a subject or medium of examination.
Indian citizens are required to take the OSSSC Junior Assistant exam. If a candidate fulfils the additional OSSSC Junior Assistant Eligibility requirements listed by the Commission, they are eligible to apply from anywhere in the nation. Any document that proves the candidates' residency in India may be asked of them.
