The candidates need to fulfil the Patna High Court Personal Assistant Eligibility Criteria which is defined in terms of age limit, education, nationality and other important points. Candidates applying for the Patna HC Personal Assistant Recruitment must have the following qualifications:

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University/ Institution; and
• Certificate of English Shorthand and English Typing having required minimum
  speed from a recognised institution
• Diploma/ Certificate of at least six month’s Course in Computer Application from a recognised institution.
• English shorthand-computer typing test with speed of 100 words per minute for
  400 words only i.e. at the rate of 100 w.p.m. for 4 minutes and 20 minutes for its
  transcription along with 10 minutes for revision of shorthand immediately after
  dictation.
• English Typing test with speed of 40 words per minute.

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of performance in 5 stages of selection. These 3 stages of selection are as follows:

• Preliminary Test (Qualifying) including 
  • Part –A - Multiple Choice Question Based Objective test
  • Part-B – Computer Typing Test
  • Part- C – Shorthand Computer Typing Test
• Shorthand Computer Typing Test (Mains)
• Interview.

Note: The merit list will be based on marks secured in the Shorthand Computer Typing Test (Mains) and Interview stages.

Patna High Court PA Typing Test - Mains 

The test will comprise English Shorthand dictation at the speed of 100 words per minute for 4 minutes and 20 minutes for its transcription along with 10 minutes for revision of shorthand immediately after dictation.
