Primates Under Siege is a short and easy book to read. It is composed of 2 sections, the body of the book and thereafter a vast URL and Website section wherein the reader can have access to additional literature and numerous photos which are relevant to the topic discussed. The primary focus is on primate suffering, through the various avenues, including the entertainment industry, bushmeat trade, the pet trade, research primates (vivisection) ,breeding, primates in space, delapidated zoos and roadside menageries, circuses, habitat loss, brutal methods and instruments of abuse used to break-in and train primates, orangutan prostitutes, zoochosis, and apes fighting humans in sideshows. Also discussed are specific primate attack.
