Candidates will be able to challenge this RPSC Food Safety Officer provisional answer key from 2nd to 4th September 2023 by paying an objection fee of Rs. 100 per question challenged as per the official notice given below.

RPSC Food Safety Officer Vacancy 

The distribution of RPSC Food Safety Officer vacancies is category-wise. The distribution is done based on the reservation rules that are described by the Rajasthan Government. As mentioned, there are approximately 179 vacancies available in the non-TSP areas, 18 vacancies in TSP, and 3 in Sahariya. 

RPSC Food Safety Officer  Apply Online

The application process for RPSC Food Safety Officer Recruitment is conducted through online mode. One has to submit all the required details through the application form provided by the Commission. You can find it on the official website of RPSC.

How to Apply Online for RPSC Food Safety Officer Exam?

Step 01: Go to the Commission's website and head to RPSC Online in Menu. Select Apply Online.

Step 02: If you have not registered into the RPSC database yet, you can do it through the SOS portal. Submit your Aadhar ID, mobile number, and your desired password. Once you get your unique Login ID, save it with your password. Your One Time Registration (OTR) is complete. 

Step 03: Log in to the website with them and go to Ongoing Recruitment. Select the exam as the RPSC Food Safety Officer Recruitment exam. Fill up the form with all your details and upload the documents. If you’re facing any issues in uploading your photo, you can use our photo resize tool.

Step 04: Once you have rechecked your details, press Submit. You will be redirected to the Online Payment portal.

Step 05: Pay through the means that are desirable and available. Once the payment is successful, print the RPSC FSO application form and keep it safe. Do not forget to get the Application Fee receipt.

RPSC Food Safety Officer Application Fee

The application fee is a compulsory fee required by the Commission. One needs to successfully submit it so that your application is approved. The RPSC FSO application fee for the unreserved category, as well as the creamy layer OBC and BC, is 350/-. The applicants belonging to non-creamy layers of OBC and EWS have to pay 250/-. Disabled people, SC, ST candidates, as well as those whose family income is less than 2.5 lacs yearly have to pay 150/-.

RPSC Food Safety Officer Selection Process 

The selection of the candidates at the post of Food Safety Officer is done in two stages:

• Written Exam
• Document Verification

Required Certificates for RPSC Food Safety Officer Certificate Verification

The following certificates are required to be collected by the candidates once they are selected. The Commission verifies the certificates to ensure that there is no foul play in the selection process.

• Educational certificates issued from University/ School Board.

• Mark sheets of degree obtained.

• Community Certificate (if applicable).

• No Objection Certificate from the current employer (if applicable).

• Any Identification certificate with a photo such as Aadhar Card, Driving License, etc.

RPSC Food Safety Officer Eligibility Criteria 

One needs to go through the eligibility criteria properly before applying for the RPSC Food Safety Officer Recruitment exam. Failing to meet the standards, the application form of the aspirant will be rejected directly.

• Educational Qualification: The applicant must have a degree in food technology, dairy technology, biotechnology, agricultural science, veterinary science, biochemistry, medicine for microbiology from a recognized university in India.

• Training: The applicants who have completed their training under a recognized food authority are preferred, though the training can be done during the probation period as well.

• Knowledge of Hindi: A basic knowledge of Hindi, written and spoken, is required. Also, the applicants should be aware of the culture of Rajasthan.

• Age: Though the age limit ranges from 18 to 40 years at the time of application, some relaxation in the upper age limit is given to the following categories.

RPSC Food Safety Officer Exam Pattern

The RPSC FSO exam pattern must be know by the candidates to devise an effective preparation strategy. Below are the important details of the marking scheme, sectional weightage, type of questions, etc. about the exam pattern.

• All questions are multiple-choice based.
• Each question is of 1 mark.
• The aspirants will get 2.5 hours to attempt the paper.
• For every incorrect response 1/3 mark will be deducted.
• Total marks of the paper will be 150 marks.
