9th February 2023: RPSC Senior Teacher Grade 2 Admit Card for Sanskrit Education Department Out!

RPSC Senior Teacher Grade 2 Vacancy 2022

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) holds the RPSC Senior Teacher Grade II Examination to recruit eligible candidates for the position of Teacher in several Streams. The commission has released a total of 9760 vacancies for Sr. Teachers in the Secondary Education Department & 417 vacancies in the Sanskrit Education Department. The stream and department-wise vacancy distribution is shown in the below table.

How To Apply For RPSC Senior Teacher Grade 2 Recruitment?

The applications for RPSC Senior Teacher Grade II recruitment will only be accepted online. The candidates must submit the applications within the deadlines as mentioned below:

• For vacancies in the Secondary Education Department: 11th April to 14th May 2022
• For vacancies in Sanskrit Education Department: 23rd May to 23rd June 2022

The candidates applying for the RPSC Senior Teacher Grade II Recruitment will be selected based on their performance in the written test. The normalization process can also be used if required while calculating the marks.

RPSC Senior Teacher Grade 2 Exam Pattern

The Examination shall carry 500 marks. There will be two papers. Paper-I shall be 200 marks and Paper-II shall be 300 marks. The detailed exam pattern is mentioned in the following subsections.

RPSC Senior Teacher Exam Pattern (Secondary Education Department)

Paper– I Exam Pattern

• The paper shall include the following subjects:- 
• The question paper will carry 100 questions of multiple choices. 
• The duration of the question paper will be 2.00 hours. 
• The question paper will carry a maximum of 200 marks. 
  • Geographical, Historical, Cultural, and general knowledge of Rajasthan. 
  • Current Affairs of Rajasthan 
  • General knowledge of the world and India 
  • Educational Psychology. 
• Negative marking shall be applicable in the evaluation of the answer. For every wrong answer, one-third of the marks prescribed for that particular question shall be deducted. 
• The minimum qualifying marks for each paper shall be 40%. Provided that the percentage fixed as above shall be relaxed by 5% for the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. 

Paper- II Exam Pattern

• The question paper will carry a maximum of 300 marks. 
• The duration of the question paper will be 2 Hours and 30 Minutes.
• The question paper will carry 150 questions of multiple choices. 
• Negative marking shall be applicable in the evaluation of answers. For every wrong answer, one-third of the marks prescribed for that particular question shall be deducted. 
• The minimum qualifying marks for each paper shall be 40%. Provided that the percentage fixed as above shall be relaxed by 5% for the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. 
• The paper shall include the following subjects:- 
  • Knowledge of secondary and senior secondary standards about the relevant subject matter. 
  • knowledge of graduation standards about the relevant subject matter
  • Teaching methods of the relevant subject.

RPSC Senior Teacher Grade 2 Salary 

The candidates selected for the post of RPSC Sr teacher will be entitled to Pay Matrix Level (L-11) with a grade pay INR 4200.
