The RRB (Railway Recruitment Board) is going to release the official notification of the RRB JE 2022. For the previous recruitment cycle, the RRB had released a total number of 13487 vacancies. It is expected that this year too the RRB is going to release the approximate same or more than the previous vacancies. The selection process of the RRB JE includes CBT 1, CBT 2, and Document Verification & Medical Test. The candidates who will be selected will get an approximate salary range between Rs. 13,500 to Rs. 38,425.

RRB JE Application form will be released on the official website of RRB. The official notification will contain all the important dates regarding registration, exam date, release of admit card etc. Candidates can check the following steps to apply once the RRB JE Application form is out:
The candidates will first have to register on the RRB online portal and then proceed towards the application form. The steps to Apply Online for RRB JE are as follows.
Step 1: Visit the RRB Official Website.
Step 2: Enter all the personal details to complete the registration process.
Step 3: Verify your email ID and phone number through OTP.
Step 4: After successful registration, the candidates can click on "Already Registered" on the home page and begin with the application process.
Step 5: Candidates can log in using the registration number and start filling the educational details.
Step 6: Select post preferences.
Step 7: Pay the RRB JE application fee and enter your bank account details in order to receive the refunds (Applicable as per the guidelines mentioned in RRB JE notification)
Step 8: Upload the required documents according to the prescribed format.
Step 9: Confirm the declaration and make the final submission.
All the candidates are required to pay the prescribed application fee while applying for RRB JE Exam 2023. The RRB JE Application fee will vary for different categories. The expected application fee will be Rs. 500 for the unreserved category. An amount of Rs. 400 will be refunded after appearing for CBT 1. Payment can be done through online or offline modes of transaction.

The selection for Junior Engineers is expected to be done by the RRB in three stages. The first stage will be Computer-Based Test 1, and those who will clear this test will appear for Computer-Based Test 2. Candidates who will clear both the stages will be called for Document Verification. A medical fitness test will also be conducted at the same time. The three stages of the RRB JE Selection Process as per the previous notice are as follows.

Applicants must fulfil the RRB JE Eligibility Criteria in order to apply for the RRB JE post. Candidates not fulfilling any of the eligibility criteria shall be rejected with immediate effect. The RRB JE eligibility criteria 2023 is yet to be released officially, but we expected it to be the same as that of the previous cycle. The questions from the Mathematics section will be framed around concepts like Number systems, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, and HCF, etc. Whereas in the General Intelligence and Reasoning sections topics like Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, etc will be covered. Indian Geography, Economics, History, Polity, etc will form the basis of the General Awareness section. The questions in General Science will be as per the higher secondary level (class 10th).

The syllabus for General Awareness and Physics/Chemistry will be the same per CBT 1. The maximum number of questions will be from technical abilities. The questions from the core subjects of graduation will be asked in this section.
As per the last year notification of RRB JE, there are two stages of examination. Both the tests will be conducted online. The pattern may get changed by the board as the official notification for the upcoming exam has not been released yet. Check RRB JE Exam Pattern below:
CBT 1 is expected to consist of questions from four sections, namely Mathematics, General Awareness, General Science, and General Intelligence & Reasoning. Out of these topics, maximum weightage will be given to Mathematics and General Science. The test will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions. The total duration of the test will be 90 minutes. There will be 100 questions, with each question carrying one mark. Wrong answers will result in a deduction of 1/3rd of a mark.

RRB JE CBT-2 exam is expected to consist of a total of five topics i.e. General Awareness, Physics & Chemistry, Computer application basics, basics of Environmental & Pollution, and Technical Abilities. But this test will focus mainly on Technical Abilities consisting of 100 questions out of 150. The tentative marking scheme for this test is expected to be the same as that of CBT 1. The duration of this test will be 2 hours.

RRB JE Admit Card 2023 will be released by the Railway Recruitment Board on its official website. Candidates will receive an update regarding the admit card release on their registered email ID/contact number. Candidates can follow the following steps to download their 2023 RRB JE Admit Card.
