SSC CGL Exam is one of the toughest exams in India. It is a graduate-level exam conducted in 2 phases i.e. Tier 1 & Tier 2. Tier 1 is qualifying in nature. Tier 2 has paper 1, paper 2 and paper 3 out of which paper 1 is compulsory. Tier 1 has been made qualifying from this year. The age limit varies for different posts and according to the categories of people. SSC has recently increased the age limit for SSC CGL 2023 recruitment. The minimum age limit has been relaxed from 20 years to 18 years. The maximum age limit is set at 32 years for the unreserved category. Relaxation in the upper age limit has been given to reserved categories. Candidates can check out the details on age relaxation below in the article.

Step 2- Fill the application form with the required details i.e. Personal, Educational, Post Name, etc.
Step 3 - Upload scanned photograph and signature as per requirements mentioned in the official notification.
Step 4 - Preview and verify the information provided by you and Submit the Application.
Step 5 - Take out the Print Out of the Application Form for future reference.
Note: Use a valid email ID. The ID should be kept active till the declaration of results. You should keep a scanned photograph and signature ready as per the requirements mentioned in the official notification. By following these above steps, you will be able to submit your Form successfully.

HRA is provided to the employees to meet their house rent needs. House rent allowance varies according to the city and is classified into 3 categories. HRA shall not be less than Rs. 5400/- pm, Rs. 3600/- pm and Rs.1800/- pm at X, Y & Z class cities respectively.
HRA shall be revised to 27%, 18% & 9% of Basic Pay in X, Y & Z cities when Dearness Allowance (DA) crosses 25% and further to 30%, 20% and 10% of Basic Pay in X, Y & Z cities when DA crosses 50%
The Dearness Allowance is a cost of living adjustment allowance and is currently 17% Of basic Pay under the 7th Pay Commission. The union cabinet has increased the DA to 17% in October 2019.
