SSC JE Provisional Answer Key Out of the Computer Based Examination for Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical) 2023 (Paper-II) which was held on 04.12.2023. Earlier, .SSC JE 2023 Final Answer Key was Out along with Question Paper in respect of Paper-I of Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical) Examination, 2023 which was conducted on 17.11.2023. Also, Application Status and Admit Card for the Tier-2 Computer-Based Test (CBT) of the Junior Engineer (JE) Examination 2023 was out for the exam which will be held on 4th December 2023. A total of 1324 vacancies have been announced for SSC JE Recruitment 2023 across various disciplines and departments. The Staff Selection Commission conducts the SSC JE exam to recruit Junior Engineers in different disciplines under various departments of the Central Government. The selection process of the candidates for the SSC Junior Engineer post consists of Paper I, Paper-II, Document Verification, and Medical Examination. Candidates who will get selected will get a salary range between Rs. 35,400/- to Rs. 1,12,400/-. Candidates must refer to the SSC JE Previous Year Papers and SSC JE Civil Mock Test, SSC JE Electrical Mock Test, and SSC JE Mechanical Mock Test to understand the type of questions coming in the examination.
SSC JE Provisional Answer Key Out of the Computer Based Examination for Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical) 2023 (Paper-II) which was held on 04.12.2023. The purpose of SSC JE is to recruit candidates for the post of Junior Engineer (JE) in various organizations like Border Roads Organization, CPWD, Central Water Commission, Farakka Barrage Project etc, for different branches like Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, etc The selected candidates will be given a Group B Post (Non-Gazetted) in Level 6 of Pay Matrix (Rs 35,400-1,12,400) in the 7th Central Pay Commission.

Step 1: Go to the SSC website and then click on the "Register Now" option in the upper right corner.
Step 2: Fill out the form with your Aadhaar number, name, father's name, mother's name, and date of birth.
Step 3: Fill out the form with your gender, highest educational qualification, cellphone number, email address, and current and permanent residence.
Step 4: Now, save these details and confirm your mobile number using an OTP provided to your registered cellphone number.
Step 5: Log in with your new login credentials and update your password to something more personal.
Step 6: After that, choose your candidate category, nationality, visible identity mark, and benchmark disability.
Step 7: In the form, attach a scanned copy of your current passport size photo and signature.
Step 8: Save the data, examine the details, and then click the "Final Submit" button.
Step 9: Two separate OTPs will be emailed to your email address and mobile phone number; enter any of them into the box.
Step 10: Then, underneath the declaration, click the "I Agree" button to finish the registration procedure and proceed to the online application form and fee payment.
Step 1: Use your Registration Number and Password from Part I to log in to Part II of your application procedure.
Step 2: Next, click on the Apply for Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) link.
Step 3: List 3 exam centers of the same region as per your preference.
Step 4: Select the position for which you wish to apply and then submit your highest qualification and stream of education.
Step 5: Check the 'I Agree' box and then enter the captcha code that appears on your screen. You will get a preview of your form, and after you are pleased, click the submit button to proceed to fee payment.
Step 6: Pay the application fee and print a copy of the application form for future reference.
The candidates belonging to the General/OBC category have to pay Rs. 100 while candidates from SC/ST/Female do not have to pay any fee to apply for the SSC JE Examination. Fee can be paid via BHIM UPI, SBI Challan/ Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit/Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
Note: The SSC JE 2023 window for application form correction will be opened from 17th August 2023 to 18th August 2023 (23:00 hours).

To apply for the SSC JE 2023 exam, candidates must verify that they match the conditions listed under SSC JE Eligibility. The three elements that determine the SSC JE eligibility: nationality, educational qualification and age limit. Candidates have to fulfill eligibility criteria to apply for the SSC Junior Engineer examination. Below are the SSC JE Eligibility criteria.
A candidate must be either a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, or a subject of Bhutan, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently setting in India.
