20th August 2023: TS SET Application Admit Card Out!

TS SET Admit card has been released! The Telangana State Eligibility Test admit card is out on 20 October 2023.  candidates can get the admit card by logging in to the link given above.

TS SET Application Form 2023

The TS SET Application Form must be submitted online. Below are the steps to apply online for the exam:

Step 1: Visit the TS SET official website. Go to the 'Apply Online' Tab

Step 2: Candidates have first to register themselves using their email ID, mobile number, name, and other information that is required.

Step 3: On the home page, candidates must search for the link to apply for the “ Telangana State Eligibility Test 2022-23” and click on it.

Step 4: Then, candidates have to read all the instructions and eligibility very carefully and proceed to fill out the complete “ Telangana State Eligibility Test 2022-23” application form.

Step 5: After filling in all the details in the application form, candidates must pay the examination fee by any mode of payment that is decided by the higher authorities.

Step 6: After submitting the application form, candidates must download it and keep a print copy of it for future reference.

TS SET Selection Process 2023

As mentioned earlier, the TS SET Exam is only a qualifying eligibility test. After qualifying the same, candidates will have to undergo the post-specific selection process determined by the university or college they are applying to. This may include one or more of the following stages: 

• Written Examination.
• Interview
• Teaching Demo
• Document Verification. 

TS SET Eligibility Criteria 2023 

Eligibility criteria are the minimum requirement that candidates must fulfil as per the recruitment authority in the context of age limit and educational background for the recruitment drive. Candidates preparing for the Telangana State eligibility test must fulfil the eligibility criteria in terms of age limit, educational qualifications, and other criteria. Candidates can check out the below pointers to learn about the eligibility criteria. 

TS SET Educational Qualification 

Candidates have to fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualifications:

• The candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree (i.e., M.A., M.Sc., M.Com, MBA, MLISC, M.Ed., M.PEd., MCJ, LLM, MCA and M.Tech (CSE & IT only) ) are eligible to apply. 
• For the Candidates of Backward Classes (BC)/Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Persons with Disability (PwD) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree is eligible for this Test.
• The candidates who are pursuing their Master’s Degree course or the Candidates who have appeared for their qualifying Master’s Degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test.
• However, such candidates will be 4 admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for eligibility for Assistant Professor / Lecturer after they have passed their Master’s Degree examination with at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of BC/SC/ST/PwD (Persons with Disability) category candidates. 
• Such candidates must complete their Master’s Degree examination within two years from the date of the SET result with the required percentage of marks, failing which they shall be treated as disqualified.

TS SET Age Limit 

There is no upper age limit for the candidates to appear for the Telangana State Eligibility Test.
