The Department of School Education, Government of Telangana will release the TS TET Notification 2024. The TS TET is an annual examination conducted by the Department of School Education, Government of Telangana to recruit candidates for primary teacher posts in various schools such as government, Zila Parishad, aided, unaided, and private schools in Telangana. This is a golden opportunity for candidates who want to get into teaching jobs in the state of Telangana. Candidates desiring to apply for the TS TET Exam 2024 have to submit their applications via online mode only. These applications will have to be submitted within the application dates decided by the authorities. Before starting with the TS TET application process, candidates are advised to read through the Information Bulletin carefully. Additionally, they must keep scanned copies of their educational documents, passport size picture, signature etc. handy. Candidates can follow the steps given below to apply for the TS TET Examination 2024.
Step 1: Go to the official website and click on ‘Application Form’.
Step 2: Pay the TS TET application fee of Rs.400/- per paper I or paper II or both using online modes of transaction like a Debit/ Credit card, Net Banking, UPI etc.
Step 3: At the payment gateway, fill in all the required preliminary details like your name, father’s name, date of birth, contact information, address etc.
Step 4: After successful completion of the TS TET application fee, you will be issued a ‘Journal Number’.
Step 5: Proceed with the TS TET application using the journal number issued to you. Fill up all the details and attach the required documents, like your recent passport size photograph, signature, Category certificate, etc. The dimensions for the photograph and signature are as follows:

Candidates eligible for the TS TET Recruitment 2024 will have to take the TS TET Exam 2023. It is a qualifying examination and the authorities decide a minimum qualifying percentage for each category of candidates that they need to pass. The exam has 2 papers:
Each candidate needs to decide whether they want to appear for Paper I, Paper II or for both. The exam is for a total of 150 marks and the duration of the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes.

The eligibility criteria vary for the candidates applying for Classes I to V (Paper- I) and Classes VI to VIII (Paper-II) separately. B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with at least 50% marks. In case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education). OR B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with at least 50% marks. In respect of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 40%. AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education) in case of the candidates who have passed or admitted to B.Ed. OR 4-year B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed., with at least 50% marks, in case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. Questions asked in the TS TET exam 2024 will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). There is a +1 marking for every correct response and no negative marking for every incorrect response. The TS TET exam pattern for 2024 is separate for both the Papers, ie. Paper I and Paper II. The TS TET exam pattern for both these papers are provided in detail in the space below
