UKPSC AE Answer Key for re-exam has been released. The re-exam was followed on 13th, 14th, 16th,17th and 18th of August 2023. Earlier, the exam was held between 23rd to 27th April 2022 and the result for the same was announced on 18th November 2022. • The UKPSC AE Admit Card for the re-exam will be released on 29th July 2023.
• The applicants shall be selected on the basis of an objective type test followed by an interview.
• The pay scale for the selected candidates will be Rs. 56100 - 177500/- (Level 10).
• The candidates who possess NCC B Certificates or those who have served in the Territorial Army shall be given preference.

31st July 2023: UKPSC AE Admit Card Out

The UKPSC AE Admit Card has been released by the authorities. This is the hall ticket for the re-exam scheduled on 13th, 14th, 16th,17th and 18th of August 2023. The link to download the same has been provided above in this article.

UKPSC AE Vacancy 

A total of 171 vacancies were released for the UKPSC AE Recruitment 2021. Candidates will have to wait for the vacancy count for 2023. The candidates can check the distribution of vacancies across various Departments and Streams in the table provided below.

UKPSC AE Apply Online 2023

The candidate can apply online for the UKPSC AE recruitment 2023 by following the links provided further. The candidates were able to apply online till 12th October 2021 only.

Step 1: Proceed to UKPSC Application Portal.

Step 2: Click on the application link for Combined State Engineer Services Exam 2021.

Step 3: Read all the instructions can click on "Apply Now".

Step 4: Complete your registration by entering all the personal details.

Step 5: Provide your educational qualification and other such details.

Step 6: Upload the scanned copies of the photograph and signature as per the format. The candidates can use the Testbook Resize Tool.

Step 7: Proceed to the payment of the application fee and print the finally submitted application form for future reference.

UKPSC AE Application Fee 

The candidates need to pay the application fee as a part of the application process. The fee can be paid through Net Banking/Debit Card/ Credit Card.

UKPSC AE Eligibility Criteria 2023

The candidates who wish to apply for the UKPSC AE vacancies need to make sure whether they satisfy the eligibility criteria or not. The criteria have been defined in terms of educational qualification, age limit, and nationality.

A. UKPSC AE Educational Qualification

• The candidate must have completed a degree in engineering in the relevant/concerned stream from a recognized university.
• The candidates who are fully qualified associate members of the Institute of Engineers (India) and have qualified relevant certification can also apply.

B. UKPSC AE Preferred Achievements

• 2 years of service in the Territorial Army.
• NCC B Certificate

C. UKPSC AE Age Limit

The candidate must be aged between 21 to 43 years. The relaxations in the upper age limit must be applicable to the following category candidates of Uttarakhand.

D. Nationality

The applicant must be a citizen of India. Other candidates can also apply if they are either:

• Tibetan refugees migrated permanently to India before 1st January 1962
• person of Indian origin from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania.

UKPSC AE Selection Process 2023

The candidates will have to undergo an objective type test first. The total marks for this test shall be 1020. The successful candidates will be later called for an interview. The total marks for this interview shall be 100. Hence the 2 stages of selection are:

UKPSC AE Exam Pattern

• The exam shall consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions only.
• For every wrong answer, 1/4th of the assigned mark for that question shall be deducted.
• In case of multiple options selected, the same negative marking rule shall be applicable.
• The total marks for the written exam will be 1020.

UKPSC AE Salary

The salary structure i.e. Level of Pay, Pay scale etc will be mentioned in the official notification. The candidates successful in scoring marks equivalent to UKPSC AE cut off marks will be appointed as Assistant Engineers. The final in-hand salary of a candidate after all the deductions will come down to around INR 60,000 to INR 68,000 in 2021.
